Because marble is thought of as a legendary, elegant stone, it is popular for numerous uses. They include flooring, vanities, tub surroundings, fireplaces, alters, pillars, fountains, and sculptures.

Similar to granite, marble has an extremely high polish, which increases its rich, elegant look. Although the look is somewhat the same, the specific characteristics differ drastically. It is significantly softer than granite and can scratch very easily. Also, acidic foods and certain cleaners can easily damage marbles, which is why it is typically not recommended for a kitchen countertop. Finally, marble needs slightly more care as it can sometimes lose its color and polish. Preventative measures through proper sealing and maintenance can solve any concerns you may have; although the price is similar to granite, availability always determines the price.
